Recipe of Golgappa or Pani puri


what is Golgappa?
Golgappa is a fried  puffed ball which is very crispy and filled with spicy potato and topped with spicy flavoured water.It is famous street food in India.It is also known as fuchka.



Procedure of Golgappa
  1. At first mix wheat flour with sooji and salt in bowl.
  2. Then add warm water to make dough of soft texture.
  3. Cover the dough by a wet cloth for 15 minutes.
  4. knead the dough again and divide into 4 equal parts and roll the dough on a slightly floured surface to make a thin circle.
  5. Cut this circle into small circles.
  6. Now heat oil for frying panipuri and fry them untill they puffed ball and become golden brown in colour.
  7. Then absorb the extra oil by using absorbing tissue and cool them at least 4-5 hours before using.
  8. And stored them into a airtight container.
  9. Then make the spicy potato by using boiled potato, salt, black chickpeas, green & red chilli, chat masala, onion and coriander leaves.
  10. Then make the spicy water by using tamarind (imli) pulp, chat masala, lemon and coriander leaves.
  11. Finally golgappas are ready and enjoy it with everybody.
