GOLDEN TEMPLE, AMRITSAR, PUNJAB, INDIA

Golden temple is one of the most attraction of the tourist spot and it is a religious place for sikhs which is situated in Amritsar, Punjab.And it is a shining star of India.It is also known as Sri Harmandir Sahib, it means the "temple of god".It is called Golden temple because it is plated by gold.It remains open for 24 hours and free meals are also available for pilgrims.

The beauty of the Golden temple & it's surrounding environment is just mind blowing.And this the view of Golden temple at day.

The best time for visit this temple is October & March.

Guru purab is the main festival of sikhs which is held here in the month of November & January.



This is the another view of Golden temple which is decorated by lighting.

WARD'S LAKE, SHILLONG

Ward's lake is situated in Shillong and it is so beautiful tourist place in Shillong,There are various types of beautiful flowers and various types of trees present in this lake.And there is a wooden bridge present  and boating is also available here and it is a perfect place for photography.And it remains closed on every Tuesday.

POTATO CHAAT RECIPE

Potato chaat is a very famous street food in North East, West Bengal and Bangladesh also.It is very spicy in taste.

Steps to make potato chaat

1. At first take 2 pieces of potato and boil them.
2. Peel of them and cut into small pieces and put them into a bowl.
3. Then add finely chopped onion, green chilli, tamarind (imli) chatni, sweet chatney (optional), chaat masala, chili powder, roasted cumin powder, salt and mix them with potato properly.
4. Transfer this potato chaat into a serving plate.
5. Then spread coriander leaves into it and top with generous amount of sev.
6. And now it is ready for eating.

Recipe of Golgappa or Pani puri

what is Golgappa?

Golgappa is a fried  puffed ball which is very crispy and filled with spicy potato and topped with spicy flavoured water.It is famous street food in India.It is also known as fuchka.

Procedure of Golgappa

1. At first mix wheat flour with sooji and salt in bowl.
2. Then add warm water to make dough of soft texture.
3. Cover the dough by a wet cloth for 15 minutes.
4. knead the dough again and divide into 4 equal parts and roll the dough on a slightly floured surface to make a thin circle.
5. Cut this circle into small circles.
6. Now heat oil for frying panipuri and fry them untill they puffed ball and become golden brown in colour.
7. Then absorb the extra oil by using absorbing tissue and cool them at least 4-5 hours before using.
8. And stored them into a airtight container.
9. Then make the spicy potato by using boiled potato, salt, black chickpeas, green & red chilli, chat masala, onion and coriander leaves.
10. Then make the spicy water by using tamarind (imli) pulp, chat masala, lemon and coriander leaves.
11. Finally golgappas are ready and enjoy it with everybody.

What is Amber?

Amber is a translucent fossil resin from spores, plants, entrapping pollen and insect wings which is used in jewellery.It is yellow in colour and organic material is preserved in its original form and it is produced from a marrow discharged by trees like gum of cherry tree and resin of ordinary pine trees.

Lantana camara is a plant of Verbenaceae family.It looks beautiful and it is a small perennial shrub.It is found that the leaves of this plant can display antimicrobial, fungicidal and insecticidal properties.And it has been used in traditional medicine also for treatment of ulcer, chicken pox, leprosy, rabies etc.

Shillong view point. Laitkor peak

Shillong is the capital of the state of Meghalaya and it is a hill station of northeast India.This is the highest peak of Shillong.It is very beautiful and pleasant place.The height of this peak is 6449 ft and it is one of famous attraction of Shillong.The time for watching this view point from 9.00 am to 3.30 pm.
