Vivekananda Rock Memorial is a very famous tourist spot in Vavathurai which is situated in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu,India.Actually Kanyakumari is an unique tourist spot.This rock is surrounded by Indian Ocean which serves as a peaceful & serene destination for visitors from all across the world.
It is located on a small island which was built on 1970.And it was built as a memorial to Swami Vivekananda and you can visit this place daily from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm.
Kanyakumari is the meeting point of three oceans- the Bay of Bengal, the Arabian sea & the Indian ocean and it is the southernmost point of peninsular India.
It is a very famous and very beautiful place in India and you can enjoy a mind blowing views of sunrise and sunset on the ocean water which is so amazing and it has an importance as a Hindu pilgrim centre also.
