LONAR LAKE: A MYSTERIOUS LAKE OF THE WORLD

Lonar lake (round shaped) is located in Buldhana district, Maharashtra which is also known as Lonar crater and it is the world's third largest crater which is formed by high velocity impact crater of basaltic rocks.

It is not visited by many people because they are unaware about this beautiful & mysterious lake.

It is a mysterious lake because the water of this lake has magnetic power but the reason is totally unknown.There are two distinct water regions are present which are not mixed with each other- actually the ecosystem of this lake is pretty unique.

The outer region of this lake is neutral with pH level 7 and the inner region of this lake is alkaline with pH level 11. And there is no vegetation found on the belt of mud due to alkaline nature.

Still now it is undiscovered why the water of this lake has magnetic power and unique ecology.Scientists have puzzled by this strange electromagnetic disturbance and have tried to find the proper reason.

Besides these Lonar is a place of temple where you find many temples like- Gomukh temple, Chopda Mahadev temple, Shiva temple, Hanuman temple & Daitya sudan (Vishnu) temple.

It is a very beautiful temple and an eternal water stream found in the one Kunda in this temple which is assumed by devotees to be holy.

Hanuman temple is only one temple in India where sleeping maruti or hanuman present here.

The surrounding environment of these temples provide to you a pleasant feeling.

These temples are the most attraction of pilgrims.And these sculptures were built in between 11th-12th century.

If you want to see this mysterious Lonar lake on your own eyes and also these temples you have to go Maharashtra which is 150 km away from Aurangabad and 390 km from Nagpur.

Mysore palace is a world famous palace, situated in the state Karnataka, India which is also known as a Amba Vilas Palace.Mysore palace was built in the year 1912.It is the harmonious blend of Hindu, Muslim, Rajput and Gothic styles.

ELEPHANT FALLS, MEGHALAYA, SHILLONG

Elephant falls is one of the most visited & popular waterfalls in North-East situated  next to Shillong which is 12 km away from the capital city of Shillong, Chaos.
                                                                                               

Locals called it "ka kshaid Lai Pateng Khohsiew" it means- "Three steps of waterfalls" because this falls have 3 steps.

Second falls is most negligible  falls and to reach the last step of this falls you need to climb down about 180 hilly stairs.

The environment of this waterfalls is very cool and charming.It has an eye-catching beauty and surrounding green vegetation are so much beautiful and you can see different types of fern-covered rocks which can mesmerizing to you.


Elephant  falls is one of the another attraction of Shillong and it is a best place for photography also.You can visit this place everyday from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm and visit duration is 30 minutes to 1hour.And best time for visit the Elephant falls is February to September.

A NEW TOURIST SPOT: JATAYU NATURE PARK, KERALA, INDIA
